Our co-founders, Cristina Albulescu and Bianca Baciu, had the pleasure of meeting Christie Brinkley in Los Angeles at the annual Mega Success event. Brinkley, an iconic entrepreneur, actress, and supermodel, discussed how her own personality and values have led her to succeed in life. Her discussions emanated a particular concept that is embedded within the foundation of Baroque Contempo: to bring personality to the forefront in everything that we do in order to create unique, memorable weddings and events.
Christie was a wonderful speaker and lit up the room with her personality. Highlighting values in her life that she holds near and dear to her heart such as the importance of family and healthy living as a vegetarian. She also explained how her smile played a crucial role in her success, which we absolutely agree with. She carried herself with extreme poise and radiated positive energy-a must have when interacting with clients, family and friends alike.
At Baroque Contempo, similar ideas to those emphasized by Brinkley lay the background for our planning and floral design services. We strive to create positive interactions and ensure that our team’s personalities-such as creativity, optimism, and passion-inspire a stress-free relationship between the company and our clients. Maintaining a positive energy infused with authenticity, helpfulness, and guidance is vital to creating flawless, unforgettable events.
We were grateful to hear from Brinkley and inspired by her guidance. Her background as a businesswoman for decades is deeply inspirational: she held contracts with renewed brands such as Diet Coke and Cover Girl, as well as creating multiple of her own businesses including a skincare line, an eyewear company and Bellissima, a new line of organic Prosecco wine.
The way in which she incorporates her uplifting, genuine personality into how she conducts business is a shining example that any company hoping to succeed should follow – just as we do at Baroque Contempo. Inspiring personality is key, as we strongly believe, both in our interactions and productions.
